The essence of Workplace Dignity stems from a hermeneutic phenomenological qualitative research study with leaders who work in middle management positions.​

 

Workplace Dignity is an environment in the organization that is universally safe for all people, inclusive of the engagement of the self, and garners a recognition of being through an empathetic exchange and authentic communication with the other while embracing relational growth and is often judged through a comparative state of worth.

Engaged Self

... is knowing “myself“, “my thoughts, my feelings,“ in the workplace and having the space and time to do so.

Recognition of Being

... is recognizing and respecting the employee as human, and as employee, as they choose to represent themselves.

Embracing Relations Growth

... is the embracement of relationships that lead to growth opportunities for all parties involved.

Authentic Communications

.. is knowing and comprehending the what through open, honest and trustworthy communications, as well as effective listening.

Universal Safety
